The sample at the end is from a Billy Collins poem called "Flock." This was the last track written for this EP and I had a few riffs that I really wanted to include, so I just threw them all at the end.
lyrics
Swollen wolf with a shepherds crook
Takes a hundred hides for one holy book
In the holding pen, you don't know whose
Never dwelled too much on that pile of hooves
Calling a wolf to lick your wounds
A bolt of truth from the blackest cloud
Your little friends can’t save you now
A prayer before the lights go out
Your little friends can’t save you now
A knife shows up, the lambs lie down
Your little friends can’t save you now
No, your little friends can't save you now
Madness stalks another season
Drives a panicked flock off the edge of reason
A kindly fool claims ignorance
When he’s letting wolves inside the fence
Never was too fond of the pets
